Decomposition Experiment: December Update
Here is the Squash/Pumpkin experiment update for December. This is decomposition at two months. There is now quite a bit of mould in both containers, but the baby pumpkins definitely still have way more than the squash.
As a reminder: We'll leave these closed and untouched, watching & recording their decomposition every month until only seeds are left. Then we'll layer over them with a bit more dirt, close them back up, and watch & record their germination and growth until it's time to transplant them outside. I'll post an update at the beginning of each month if you feel like following along.
