October Library Adventures

I made this marionette during Kid Craft Time at the library. I was trying to make it look like they have their tongue out, but it just looks like they have a bloody mouth or lost a tooth, lol!

I am not really sure what I was making here, but I really like making pictures on the felt board at the library. I usually make something from Minecraft since the pieces of felt are mostly blocky.

On the way walking home from the library one day, my mum spotted this Woolly Bear caterpillar. We then researched how people used to try and predict the weather or how the Winter would be based on how big/small the bands of colour on the caterpillar were. I just thought this little babe was cute. We were sure to put them back where we found them once we were done saying, "hello!"

The Zoo brought some animals to the library and one of them was this Prehensile-Tailed Skink (Corucia zebrata) who I got to pet.

The Zoo workers also brought this button-up shirt that one of the Zoo staff members made for a Silver Back Gorilla! They let me try it on and it was so big with super long arms! Can you imagine a gorilla wearing a shirt!?
