Halloween!

This year for Halloween, I decided to be something pretty scary, but not in a scary movie kind of way. I wanted to be a real-life scary thing. So, I dressed up as an Early Stage Spotted Lanternfly Nymph! It is scary how they are destroying our trees and the habitats of native species.

This is the lifecycle of the Spotted Lanternfly. I was dressed as the black with white polka-dots nymph.

I think I did pretty well putting together my costume with a little help from my mum. We were able to use mostly things I already have and wear.

Here is another angle of me in my costume. I really have no idea why I decided to put my hands backwards, but it sure looks creepy!
